Jakera developed from a passion for outdoor adventure, travelling to beautiful places and doing it all with style. Our approach has been simple from the start; give people what they want, safely, with the maximum amount of fun.

We started out providing tours for small groups to the main adventure locations in Venezuela, which is still the core of our business and within a few years, we started personalising tours to particular needs. We began catering for a wide and varied clientele, from relatively inexperienced youths, to hardcore multi-sport athletes and wealthy demanding folk settling for nothing less than 5 star luxury the whole way. Now we are now running everything from 6 month language and adventure personal development programs for groups of students, through to creating and managing exclusive global travel itineraries for those with limited time and maximum expectations.

Whether you want to paddle, or sail, out to your own deserted Caribbean island; go back in time a millennia to the way of the Warao’s of the Delta, or track-down the nomadic Yanomami of the Amazon; watch parrots fly over the jungle canopy whilst enjoying a sun-downer, or pull an anaconda out of a tree; climb a mysterious tepuis in the lost world or dive down and discover a new underwater paradise; we’re confident we can offer you a suitable trip to suit your budget and give you an adventure of a lifetime.
