KAYAKING AND MULTISPORT ADVENTURE
For those who want a real experience and are looking for extreme adventure
Sea Kayaking, jeep safari and nature hike
We’ll pick you up from Puerto la Cruz and transfer you to Playa Colorada.
Sea Kayaks will be standing by and a full safety briefing by professional instructors will be given. An easy Sea Kayak for two hours along the spectacular coastline with coral formations and deserted golden beaches.
We’ll arrive at Isla Arapo for a light lunch and refreshments. The afternoon is spent snorkeling "La Piscina" from the Kayaks and arriving at Playa Colorada for sundowners and live music on the beach. This is one of the best sunsets in the Mochima National Park. After a substantial sea food dinner guests are accommodated at Jakera Lodge in beds or Morichi hammocks (your choice).
Day two is a 4x4 jeep safari along the coastline to Santa Fé and into the Turimiquire mountain range. An informative jungle walk takes us up to the San Pedrito waterfall for a refreshing swim. Continuing up to the top of the mountains by jeep we find the isolated village of Los Altos de Santa Fé, and it’s awesome views of the Mochima National park.
Lunch, then a visit to a working coffee plantation, some local craft shops and arriving at your hotel / airport or Jakera Lodge late afternoon.
N:B: For those who need a fix of adrenaline we also offer an alternative downhill mountain-bike ride.
Prices $50 USD p/p per day based on minimum group size of 4.
KAYAKING AND MULTISPORT ADVENTURE – 2 DAYS
Adventure feast with 2 days Kayaking, jeep safari, mountain bike, and jungle hike.
JUNGLE PADDLING / SURVIVAL – 8 DAYS
Learn to survive! The ultimate extreme adventure experience, this is a completely self-sufficient trip!
Specially designed for the person who wants to be self-sufficient and gain skills to live off the land. Learn to build traps, catch fish, make a shelter, a fire - regardless of the conditions and cook on land and at sea. A tough trip for a tough person.
Using kayaks we navigate through the intricate waterways of the Delta. We’ll gather our own food, make our own shelters on land and water and cover a lot of ground. Not for the faint hearted. We see nature at its very best, and co-exist with it. We gather and eat insects, catch fish and wild game.
Our survival guides, including a local Warao Indian, will teach you to build your shelter, set traps, find baits and catch food. How comfortable you are will depend entirely on how fast you learn, and how good you get!
This is a specialized tour so inquire for more details.
