Jakera Foundation Objectives
Medical Care
A lot of the children play barefoot in the streets and don’t have proper hygiene at home, so we try help by having a nurse or someone on site who can tend to any basic medical needs. Also providing some medicines and first aid.
Food & Water
Sadly, a lot of the kids carry out their daily activities with no food in their tummies, so we aim to provide at least 1 full healthy meal a day to the kids as well as a snack.
Safe Place
We create a space where kids can come and feel safe. To know that we are placing our grain of sand in our country and in the world by shaping the next generations with principles and values.
Education
Ensure that there is no school dropout, that children and adolescents understand the importance of education.

Jakera Kids Club
It all began in a small, humble fishing village in the North East ofVenezuela, called Playa Colorada. Many foreign visitors started arriving to this beautiful place and were captivated by the kindness and joy of the people in the village, as well as their sense of community. Despite the language barriers, visitors smoothly integrated into the neighbourhood. This warm welcome led many to settle in this beach town. Soon after Ada & Chris the two founders of Jakera started hosting students from all over the world who in return of Spanish classes, adventure and exploring the country contributed by doing volunteer work around the community, mainly in our kids foundation.
Our mission is to create a space for holistic education to give the younger and older children an opportunity to develop a better vision of the future they want for themselves. At the same time, we reinforce our teachers with courses of self-improvement and personal growth.
Our objective is to promote the well being of this younger generation. The country is going through a rough economic crisis and due to all the sanctions it’s becoming harder for us to get supplies in, but we are doing everything we can to send help via donations.
